Die besten Nvidia-Einstellungen für Fortnite
Success on the Fortnite island comes not only from pure skill, but is actually also a bit dependent on the game running smoothly and looking good - spotting and eliminating enemies is much harder with jerky performance.
That's why we have the guide for you: with these Nvidia settings, Fortnite will run perfectly and you'll have improved your chances of winning once again!
Fortnite: These are the best Nvidia settings
To access the settings of your Nvidia graphics card, first right-click on the desktop and select "Nvidia Control Panel". There you will find our first port of call: "Manage 3D settings", where you can make a few important settings:
- Power management mode: Favour maximum performance. This ensures that the GPU runs at maximum performance.
- Vertical synchronisation: To minimise latency, it is best to switch this off.
- Threaded optimisation: This is activated and thus improves performance on multi-core CPUs.
- Maximum frame rate: If you set this value to 1, the input delay is reduced.
A few additional settings must also be made in-game to get the best out of your Nvidia, namely the following:
- Resolution: Customise to the native resolution of your monitor.
- Frame rate limit: For very powerful systems, "unlimited" will do, otherwise adjust this to your monitor.
- Visibility: This should always be kept high to detect enemies early, but if performance is affected, it should be lowered.
- Shadows, textures, effects and edge smoothing: If you lower these settings, you will probably notice very quickly that the FPS skyrockets. We recommend classic trial and error here until you have found the right settings for your system.
And now for the game changer: Activate Nvidia Reflex in Fortnite, as players do in tournaments, to further reduce system latency. Make sure your drivers are always up-to-date and you're ready to head back to the island!
