4 mods for Sims 4 that make the game more realistic
The Sims 4 game itself promises that you can do pretty much anything with it and put your Sims in almost any situation you can dream of - with the right mods, the freedom goes even further.
Let's be honest, whether it's pools whose access ladders suddenly disappear, a vampire as a neighbour or aliens abducting house residents - as much as Sims wants to imitate real life, it's sometimes absurd and imaginative.
And yet, a little more reality in the right place could certainly add more flavour to the game, for example by making dating life more real, pregnancy more real, religion more relevant or achieving life goals more complex.
That's why we've picked out four mods for you that make Sims 4 more realistic in one way or another and add several new levels to the game.
WonderfulWhims
The mod WonderfulWhims adds new features to your game around dating, mood swings or even managing cycles and contraception. This makes your Sims' love lives not only more realistic but also much more exciting and chaotic in a wonderfully emotional way.
Realistic Childbirth
Where Sims babies are normally “simply there” are Realistic Childbirth as the name suggests, for a realistic pregnancy for your Sims. Detailed steps such as the use of an exercise ball or the choice between natural birth or caesarean section give the game an unimagined depth to the topic of becoming a parent.
Rambunctious Religions
If your Sims weren't religious enough before, you'll be delighted with this mod. With Rambunctious Religions your Sims can join a religious group, proselytise and pray - which can lead to heated discussions within the game.
Meaningful Stories
Durch Meaningful Stories every moment in your Sims' lives takes on greater significance. Joyful events as well as small missteps can become formative milestones that let you feel the intensity of your Sims' emotional world directly and make their lives even more realistic.
