Battlefield 6: Server status - Is BF6 running or not?
If you’re currently trying to jump into Battlefield 6 and are facing issues with launching or logging in, you’re not alone. Here’s how the servers are doing right now and what you can do if the game refuses to start.
Known Issues and Possible Solutions
- Missing “Play” Button on Steam: If the launch button doesn’t appear in the Steam version, a simple restart of Steam usually fixes the issue.
- DLC Recognition Error: Some players are incorrectly being told that additional content must be purchased. EA is currently investigating this issue.
- Returning to Multiplayer: Players switching from single-player to multiplayer will need to rejoin the queue, as both modes run on separate servers.
- “Game Not Purchased” Error: In rare cases, Battlefield 6 isn’t recognized as purchased despite having a valid license. Try restarting your store or system to resolve this.
How to Check the Server Status
You can always check the current Battlefield 6 server status on the official EA website or via EA Help’s social media channels. You can also follow Battlefield 6’s social media pages for updates and upcoming changes. During high player traffic, it may take a few minutes before updates appear.
Is the Problem on My End?
If the Battlefield 6 servers are up and you’ve ruled out all other issues, the problem might be your outdated hardware. To run Battlefield 6 and other new games smoothly, a high-end gaming PC is always a great choice. For example, check out our AMD Ryzen 7 9700X — with a system like this, nothing will stand between you and your next BF6 battle.
