CoD: Black Ops 7 – Season 1 is going to be awesome!
The launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on November 14, 2025 is getting closer, and developer Treyarch has now revealed more details about the content of the first season. In the latest Dev Talk, the studio provides an in-depth look at new maps, weapons, and gadgets that await players in what’s being called “the biggest season ever.”
Season 1 – A First Look
Although the exact start date of Season 1 has not yet been announced, Treyarch has already shared a preview of the upcoming content, and players are excited, as this glimpse could mean a promising future.
New Maps for Multiplayer and Zombies
Treyarch unveiled the Season 1 roadmap and described it as the “most extensive season” in the series so far: In addition to the 18 multiplayer maps available at launch, Season 1 will add seven more maps – including several classics from Black Ops 2.
Nostalgia peaks with “Nuketown 2025”, releasing on November 20, 2025. The legendary map shines in fresh, vibrant colors and, according to Treyarch, offers “some exciting spots for wall-running.”
Season 1 Multiplayer Maps:
- Nuketown 2025
- Fate
- Utopia
- Odysseus
- Standoff
- Meltdown
- Yakei
The Zombies mode also expands significantly: At launch, players will have access to the Ashes of the Damned and Vandorn Farm maps, while Season 1 adds three more undead-filled battlegrounds:
- Astra Malorum
- Exit 115
- Zarya Cosmodrome
New Weapons, Gadgets, and Events
Season 1 also introduces seven new weapons, including the fan-favorite Maddox assault rifle from Black Ops 4, the Crossbow, and the Ballistic Knife.
In addition, classic modes like “Sticks and Stones” and “Prop Hunt” make their return, complemented by time-limited holiday events and a new killstreak called the “Dead Eye Drone.”
Speaking of weapons – how’s your own gaming gear looking? Will your hardware handle this massive first season? If there’s even a hint of doubt, it might be time for an upgrade.
How about the AMD Ryzen 5 5500? With 6x3.60GHz performance, an RX 9060 XT 16GB graphics card, and 1TB M.2 SSD storage, this gaming PC is built for both space and power – perfectly suited for the launch of BO7’s first season!
Treyarch Promises Big Things
In the Dev Talk, Treyarch made it clear that Season 1 is just the beginning. It’s “the biggest season in franchise history” – and the studio has no plans to slow down.
“Season 2 and all of our other seasons are gonna be huge.” – Treyarch.
