Dragon Quest III HD remake - all content, versions and pre-order bonuses

Dragon Quest has been delighting countless video game fans around the world since the mid-1980s. The role-playing game series, which was created by game designer Yuji Horii and character designer and Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama together with composer Koichi Sugiyama, has left its mark on the gaming world and can now look back on an incredible 11 main games, over 40 spin-offs and numerous manga, anime and other media.

And since the games were able to withstand the test of time without any problems, fans are all too eagerly awaiting the HD remakes of the first games.

The remake, which will be released in November, is based on Dragon Quest 3: Seeds of Salvation from 1988 and allows the player to lead his hero troop through a place not so dissimilar to the real world and its cities, but full of magical creatures and heroic knights, in order to confront the power-hungry Baramos.

Content, versions and pre-order bonuses

While digital versions of the game are available for Nintendo Switch, the Xbox series, PS4 and PS5 as well as Steam, there is also a Collector's Edition for the physical version on Switch, Xbox and Playstation.
