EA FC 25: New update brings exciting gameplay changes

EA FC 25 Neues Update bringt spannende Gameplay-Anderungen

With the latest update for EA FC 25, EA is making some significant adjustments to the gameplay. The focus is on revised playstyles, more precise passing and improved defensive options - all based on feedback from the community.

Nous examinons de plus près trois des changements les plus importants qui auront un impact notable sur votre expérience de jeu.

New playstyle: Low Driven Shot

In addition to classic attributes such as shooting, pace or defence, playstyles play a decisive role in a player's abilities. Each position requires specific playstyles, and the community has been asking for new variants for a long time. EA is now fulfilling this wish and is introducing the Low Driven Shot for the first time introduced a playstyle for flat shots. As with all other playstyles, there is also an improved +-Variant.

More precise lob passes

Long-time EA FC or FIFA players will be familiar with the infamous kick-off bugs, which were often frustrating because they were difficult to defend against. One particularly problematic trick was the L1 + Triangle fun, with which the ball was often played halfway across the pitch directly onto the striker's foot. With the new patch, this overpowering element is now to be weakened and "more authentic" so that it can be used less effectively in knock-on situations.

Improved defensive headers

Another change concerns the defensive game: EA announces that Defensive headers, for example, can be cleared more effectively in future. This should enable faster transitional play. The so-called "Clearance Header" can be combined with the ○-Button and should provide more control in defence.

EA emphasises that these changes are based in particular on feedback from the community. But the question remains as to why only the defensive headers have been improved - after all, headers in the offence are still difficult to place precisely.
