With the title update #9 for EA SPORTS FC 25, the game receives some new optimizations, especially in the Ultimate Team and Career modes.

EA FC 25: The most important information about the Gameplay Refresh Update

While there are no major gameplay changes - EA wants to maintain a certain consistency after the positive feedback on the Gameplay Refresh Update - the update still brings some useful improvements that make the gaming experience smoother on all platforms.

Here is an overview of the most important new features.

New fixes and features

The two most significant changes probably relate to the rating of games and the OVR search function.

Ultimate Team: Changed match scoring: Players are now automatically awarded a win if the opponent stops the match under certain conditions - for example after 45 minutes of play, a red card or a penalty kick.

New OVR search function: A new filter makes it easier to search for players by overall rating (OVR), which significantly improves team composition and the market overview in Ultimate Team.
