With EA FC 26, EA Sports expands the skill move system with five new tricks that bring fresh momentum to your offensive play. From quick direction changes to spectacular flicks – here’s how the new moves work and when to use them most effectively.

EA FC 26: The 5 biggest mistakes you must avoid

Explosive Stepover

Requirement: at least 3-star skill moves
Execution: Hold L1, rotate the right stick 45° left or right
The ball stays close to the foot, and you can freely choose the exit direction.
This move is similar to last year’s L1 Elastico, but much more unpredictable – perfect for one-on-one situations.

Advanced Elastico

Requirement: 5-star skill moves
Execution: Hold L2 and perform a normal or Reverse Elastico
Allows lightning-fast direction changes in tight spaces.
Extremely hard to defend in the penalty area and ideal for skilled dribblers.

Advanced Heel Flick

Requirement: 4-star skill moves
Execution: Flick the right stick forward, then immediately backward
New, smoother animation provides more speed.
Highly effective on the wing or when running toward the goalkeeper.

Standing Heel to Heel Flick

Requirement: 4-star skill moves
Execution: Only while standing still – Hold L2, rotate the right stick 180°
A quick forward flick that looks elegant and helps you outplay defenders in tight spaces.

Trickster Rainbow Flick

Requirement: Trickster Playstyle+ (Silver level is enough)
Execution: Flick the right stick back, then forward in your running direction
A spectacular version of the classic Rainbow Flick with a higher ball arc.
Opponents temporarily lose their auto-lock on the ball, making this move difficult to intercept – perfect for highlights and showtime moments.
