EA FC 26: How to secure the silver icons

With EA FC 26, a fan favorite returns: the Silver Stars. In previous years, silver cards have brought variety and new playstyles to Ultimate Team. This year, EA is taking it a step further – for the first time ever, there are also Silver Icons, which you can earn through Objectives.

Where to Find the Silver Icons

In total, five football legends are waiting for you. Unlike regular cards, you can’t buy them on the transfer market or find them in packs – they’re only available through Objectives. You’ll find them in the Objectives menu under the “Seasonal” category.
Each Icon offers two alternative sets of challenges, and you only need to complete one. That means you can choose between steady grind-style gameplay or targeted challenges.

The Five Silver Icons at a Glance

Lev Yashin

• Option 1: Keep 10 clean sheets in Squad Battles (min. Professional) or online with at least 3 silver players in your starting lineup.
• Option 2: Play 40 matches under the same conditions.

Garrincha

• Option 1: Score in 15 different Squad Battles matches (min. Professional) with a Brazilian player.
• Option 2: Play 25 matches with at least 6 Brazilians in your starting XI.

Bobby Charlton

• Option 1: Provide assists in 100 different Squad Battles matches (min. Professional) with an English player.
• Option 2: Win 12 out of 20 matches in the World Tour Superstars League.

Bobby Moore

• Option 1: Play 100 Squad Battles matches (min. Professional) with a full English starting XI.
• Option 2: Win 50 matches under the same conditions.

Eusébio

• Option 1: Score goals in 100 different Squad Battles matches (min. Professional) with a Portuguese player.
• Option 2: Play 100 matches with at least 6 Portuguese players in your starting XI.

The Efficient Way: Combining Objectives

To avoid grinding each Icon separately, it’s smart to build a team that allows you to complete multiple challenges at once.
Recommended Starting XI:

• All-English lineup → progress for Moore and Charlton
• At least 3 silver players → for Yashin
• Brazilian and Portuguese subs → bring them on for Garrincha and Eusébio

Example Match Flow:

• Assist with an English player → Charlton
• Keep a clean sheet → Yashin
• Sub in Brazilian & score → Garrincha
• Sub in Portuguese & score → Eusébio
• Each match played → progress for Moore

This way, you’ll complete several objectives at once and save a lot of time.

Tips for Faster Unlocking

• Difficulty: Play on Professional. It meets the requirements and is much more relaxed than higher levels.
• Use Silver Stars: Include current Silver Star cards – they’ll naturally help with these Objectives.
• Opponent selection in Squad Battles: Pay attention to refresh times and pick weaker teams to make clean sheets easier.
• Efficiency: Combine long Objectives (like 100 matches for Eusébio) with goals or assists – don’t waste matches.
