Fortnite Leaks: Collaboration with Hatsune Miku coming soon
According to some well-known leakers, Epic Games could soon be working with the virtual internet persona Hatsune Miku.
Fortnite remains as popular as ever
With the return of Fortnite's OG mode, the franchise is currently experiencing renewed growth in popularity. Just one week after the Juice World event, which has already broken records in terms of player numbers, millions of gamers worldwide are enjoying the new, old classic map, modes and favourite weapons.
According to several trustworthy leakers, who have made many announcements in the past that sooner or later came true, Epic Games is already preparing for the next hype - through a collaboration with none other than Hatsune Miku.
Leaks point to a collaboration with Hatsune Miku
ShiinaBR, who enjoys an excellent reputation among Fortnite fans, posted on X (formerly Twitter) that there will be a collaboration with the virtual singer in 2025. This claim was confirmed by FNBRIntel, another important name when it comes to insider information about the multiplayer online shooter.
However, fans suspect that it is not too likely that the owners of Miku's trademark rights will make her a playable skin to avoid players being able to shoot at their idol. Instead, she could possibly take over the moderation of an upcoming Fortnite Festival event.
Hatsune Miku has millions of fans worldwide, and gathers over 3.2 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. As Epic Games often collaborates with well-known personalities, franchises and brands, this would be a perfect match.
As there have been no official statements or announcements to date, all this information should be taken with a grain of salt. However, with well-known leakers like ShiinaBR spreading the word, it seems more than likely that we can expect a collaboration between Epic games and Hatsune Miku soon.
