The second season of Fortnite's sixth chapter is in full swing, and as is so often the case, absolute community favourites have quickly emerged. Not only in terms of skins and gameplay, players have also quickly found their personal favourites among the available weapons.

But quite apart from subjective favourites, there are of course also good weapons in purely objective terms - which we would like to give you a brief overview of here.

7. Falcon Eye Sniper

The Falcon Eye Sniper brings back sniper rifles in a fresh design and offers two zoom levels to make aiming easier. Its headshot damage is impressive - up to 207 damage is possible at mythical level. However, it requires a precise playing style, as the powerful second zoom level makes it difficult to use and it cannot immediately take out enemies with an overshield.

6. Sticky Grenade Launcher

The Sticky Grenade Launcher deals 10 damage on impact and deals an additional 70 damage from its explosion, making it perfect for area damage. Its effect forces enemies out of cover, but it does not deal structure-specific damage. This makes it particularly suitable for early battles or targeted tactics.

The Sub-Zero Kombat Kit is one of the most powerful melee weapons and has a combo series that starts with 40 damage and continues with 35 damage per hit until the series is reset. It also offers a dash attack and allows you to walk on water, which gives it a decisive advantage over the kneecap killer.

The Holo Twister assault rifle remains a reliable choice, even if it no longer occupies the absolute top position. With strong body and headshot damage and high first-shot accuracy, it is particularly suitable for players who value precision and caution.

3. The kneecap killer

The kneecap killer is a versatile melee weapon that deals enormous damage with a charged attack and proves to be extremely useful, especially in the early game. In addition to increased sprint speed and jump height, it reduces stamina consumption, making it a strong all-round option despite its slower regular swing.

2. Striker Burst Rifle

The Striker Burst Rifle is celebrating its comeback this season and impresses with high damage per three-shot burst. Its high headshot bonus and additional damage potential make it a reliable choice for players who are willing to familiarise themselves with its mechanics.

1. Sentinel Pump Shotgun

The Sentinel Pump Shotgun is the undisputed best shotgun in Season 2. Its high headshot damage compensates for the small magazine and low rate of fire. Thanks to its huge burst damage, it remains a first-class option - even when other shotguns reach their limits in certain situations.
