A YouTuber has collated the little information and leaks available about GTA 6 and recreated the map of the new game - and has come to a great conclusion.

Information about GTA 6 is still more than scarce, but if you put together all the little bits of info and clues we have so far, you could see the big picture - or the full map.

A YouTuber has done just that, and according to his video, the map of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title will be significantly larger than that of its predecessor.

Rockstar remains silent

Rockstar has released hardly any details about the game since the announcement trailer in December 2023, so fans have had to get creative with the little information they had. Some even developed theories based on there being no news at all and surmised that the game company's silence would hint at a new trailer coming soon.

However, US YouTuber Dark Space didn't want to wait any longer and has recreated the size and scale of the GTA 6 map based on various leaks - showing just how gigantic it will be.

Dark Space has published a video with the title „I made GTA 6 before GTA 6“ in which he recreated the map of Leonida - the city in which the game is set - using previously leaked information.

Even if the model recreated in this way will not come close to the upcoming game in terms of graphics and richness of detail, it is still based on the „on real units of measurement from the leaks”, so that its size should at least be accurate. The aim was to show the map of GTA 6 and compare it with that of the last game.

That's why Dark Space used the same helicopter for both maps and flew it from the southernmost point all the way to the north. It took him around 3:30 minutes to cover the entire GTA 5 map, while it took just over six minutes for GTA 6. The YouTuber wanted to demonstrate that the GTA 6 map will be twice as large.

In the video, the YouTuber comes to the following conclusion:

„The map is bigger this time and the locations are much more varied. We have a much larger city and several other neighbourhoods. A huge lake in the centre and swamps in the south.“

Dark Space also explains that he plans to add improved graphics, buildings and locations to the recreation of GTA 6 to get even closer to what was shown in the first trailer.
