InZoi: The new life simulation starts in Early Access at the end of March

InZoi, the multi-layered life simulator from Korea, has been touted as a potential Sims competitor for some time - find out here whether this is realistic and what there is still to know before Early Access at the end of March.

After numerous rumours, delays and first glimpses of the gameplay, the time has finally come: InZoi, the detailed life simulation from the Korean studioInZoi Studio, is about to be launched in Early Access. The game boasts a near-realistic world and impressive graphics, which is particularly appealing to fans who feel that The Sims has lost its original appeal. Release-Date

InZoi will be on 28 March 2025 will go into Early Access, with players in the USA going into Early Access a day earlier, on27 March, can get started. Originally planned for the end of 2024, the launch has been postponed to ensure an even more mature gaming experience.

Unreal Engine 5 & AI-supported features

Thanks to the Unreal Engine 5 rises InZoi visually different from other representatives of the genre. While many life simulations rely on a stylised, cartoon-like look, the InZoi on realistic characters (the so-called Zois) and detailed environments.

A particular highlight is the integration of generative AI, which offers players more creative freedom.   • Character creation: The detailed Character studio allows Zois to be customised down to the smallest detail - from external features to their personalities and individual life goals.
  • Urban construction & open world: Different as in The Sims 4, which is focussed on individual properties, offers InZoi one freely accessible city, which can be designed with different biomes and architectural styles.
  • Professions& Skills: Zois have the opportunity to choose from numerous career paths - from K-Pop starsup to Firefighters – and can also develop skills such as Cooking, music or social interactiondevelop.
  • Dynamic weather system & Crime: In addition to changing weather conditions, there is also a Crime mechanism, in which Zois either as Investigators hunt criminals or get into difficulties themselves.
  • Secrets & Discoveries: The game world is full of surprises - among other things, there is a Amusement park with a rollercoaster, the Zois can actually drive.
  • Life after death: If a zoi dies, it can be used as a Spirit continue to exist and to be in the mystical Zoi paradisewith other deceased characters.


Competition for The Sims?
