Marvel Rivals: The best duellists
If you want to know which duel lists are the most reliable in the new free-to-play superhero hit Marvel Rivals: Here is the top 5.
For all the meta and all the strategies that Marvel Rivals has to offer players, at the end of the day it's the duellists that fundamentally make the game. As rudimentary as it may seem to rely on a character who focusses on dealing damage, they are crucial to the game - because the best tactics are useless if your opponent gets off lightly. It is therefore important to choose the right duellists who offer the necessary firepower to win a match.
Here you can find out which are the best duellists the game has to offer and how best to use them.
Iron Fist
If you enjoy direct close combat, there's no getting round Iron Fist. High speed and agility paired with self-healing powers and a damage reflector make him THE combat genius of the game. His ultimate, which only improves his status values and abilities, may seem almost sobering at first, but it makes him even more dangerous in close combat. If you play Iron Fist, you simply have to throw yourself into the fight and fight like hell.
The Punisher
Just like his comic book counterpart, the Punisher is also an absolute killer in Marvel Rivals. His gameplay may seem straightforward and simple at first, but in addition to a high rate of fire and explosive charges, his turret provides important control over parts of the playing field. An ultimate that can wipe out entire teams is the cherry on top and rounds off a duellist who is extremely easy to learn, but whose simplicity also makes him a force to be reckoned with.
Moon Knight
Moon Knight is pure chaos. The fluttering cloak of agility, flanking and disruptive attacks inflicts physical and psychological damage on opponents, who have no time to recover while Moon Knight is already sweeping across the pitch with his grappling hook. An all-encompassing ultimate causes plenty of damage, but is somewhat smaller than many others. Nevertheless, Moon Knight is still a crazy character who may not be suitable for precise, controlled attacks, but who causes pure chaos.
Hela
Who the title “Goddess of death” is of course an absolute favourite in Marvel Rivals. Deadly in close combat thanks to her sharp daggers, but also from a distance with an ultimate that allows her to take the entire field under fire from the air, Hela proves that she is one of the best duellists in the game. If you enjoy almost blind destruction, this is the game for you.
Hawkeye
The hawk's eye may seem inconspicuous, but it has enormous penetrating power with its bow. He may not attract as much attention as other heroes with extreme superpowers, but the precision with which he dominates the playing field, even from a distance, more than makes up for this.
In addition to his fast, precise primary fire, the third-person aiming function makes him particularly deadly, as it ensures that he can recover quickly from long-range shots. The longer the enemy remains in the crosshairs, the greater the damage he suffers and if Hawkeye then also fires an explosive arrow or his ultimate at the opponent, it becomes clear just how valuable this duellist is if you know how to use him.
