Minecraft: More tips & tricks that you probably didn't know yet
Even though it is one of, if not THE most successful game of all time, the world of Minecraft is still not fully explored. Here are some tricks that not every player knows.
Minecraft has now been around for more than a decade - yet it is still full of secrets that have barely been explored, if at all. This includes some mechanics and tricks that aren't just surprising, they also help you in the game and can give you some advantages against opponents or make exploring the Minecraft world easier in general.
Here are a few of these tips and tricks.
Everything is upside down
Would you like to give a mob - apart from the end dragon itself, of course - a different perspective and literally turn their world upside down? Nothing could be easier.
If you use a name tag and give the mob either the name “Grumm” or else “Dinnerbone” this is exactly what happens and the figure's sprite is reversed. As a result, sheep suddenly lie on their backs and villagers appear to walk with their heads.
This doesn't necessarily have an effect on your gameplay, but it does add some variety.
So golden armour is effective after all
Anyone who has already fought one or two Piglins will have noticed the differences in how long it takes to take down the respective opponents.
More specifically: Have you noticed that a normal Piglin has 16 health points, while a Piglin Barbarian has 50? The fact that a fight against these beasts is so energy-sappingly long is simply down to their golden armguard. It simply works like a mini shield that has to be overcome first.
Who would have thought that the golden armour in Minecraft could be effective at some point? Not necessarily for you as a player, but at least for some of your opponents.
Loren-Diät
To avoid going hungry in Minecraft, at least on the normal difficulty level, all you have to do is eat. Sure.
However, you can also simply sit in a lorry and set off. As long as you stay in it, your hunger bar will not decrease and you can postpone starvation indefinitely. The same also works if you are sitting in a boat or even riding a horse.
This means you can go on longer trips, even if you don't have any provisions with you.
Potion of the restful night
Wf you find night-time battles against mobs too difficult, why don't you try a “Potion of weakness”. Its effect renders most of the enemies you encounter in the dark completely useless.
Slimes, spiders and silverfish still appear in abundance, but can be defeated without resistance. Even zombies are suddenly no longer a problem for you. They still perform their attack animation, but as a player you will not suffer any damage and will not be pushed back - regardless of the difficulty level you are playing on.
There are of course many more secret and exciting tricks to explore and try out, but with this insight into the hidden tricks and special features of Minecraft, you should be able to make your game more interesting and entertaining.
