Soulslike-Metroidvania game Biomorph released for PS5

Since 22 November, you can finally play the Souls-like Metroidvania game Biomorph on the PS5.

Spider-Man 2 released for PC - but without DLC

Originally released on 5 April for PC only, the mixture of Dark Souls, Castlevania and Metroid is very popular with gamers who appreciate the nostalgia in combination with the modern, almost comic-like presentation.

Become your enemy

While the player of Biomorph has to explore another, darker world full of platforming, puzzles and battles against nasty monsters, his most important tool is the ability to transform into his opponents.

Harnessing the powers of defeated monsters is also very necessary when they come back even meaner and stronger.

While the monsters gradually adopt the player's fighting styles through an AI-supported system, the player must try to find and open up new paths in order to penetrate deeper into the dark world of Biomorph.

A world full of possibilities

The game consists of 16 different areas, optional boss battles, strange NPCs and lots of secrets that sometimes require not only destroying enemies but also building them up.

The player's home town of Blightmoor must be rebuilt, the inhabitants must be helped and the mystery surrounding the main character's origins must be solved.

Further ports planned

The PS5 version includes all the improvements that the PC version has seen so far and has additional language extensions for English, French, basic Chinese, Portuguese and Japanese.

The game has been available for the PlayStation 5 since 22 November, but according to the developer, further versions for the Xbox series and the Switch are already being planned.
