This mod turns Starfield into a Sith planet from Star Wars
With the DLC for Starfield, modders can now change the look of the game and have set themselves the task of creating the home world of the Sith from Star Wars.
Starfield was originally intended to be the next Bethesda flagship. Fans' expectations were correspondingly high when the sci-fi RPG was released in September 2023 after 8 years of development.
However, the game was never able to live up to the expectations. A lack of game speed, performance problems, weak dialogue and characters meant that the community was rather disappointed with Starfield. Even the subsequently released DLC “Shattered Space” couldn't really change anything.
Shattered Space DLC
With the DLC released on 30 September, Starfield received an additional, isolated area. The planet Va’ruun represents the home of the House of Va’ruun dar. While the mysterious group, their culture and conflicts, including the occult background, were only hinted at in the main game, the theme in “Shattered Space” in the foreground and deepened the story of Va’ruun.
However, reactions to the DLC were largely negative - but thanks to the official mod support included, players are still enjoying it.
Starfield Mods
Thanks to Bethtesda's Creation Kit, which was released in June 2024, moderators can now influence and change the world of the Strfield DLC.Modder DeityVengy has taken the DLC as an opportunity to give the Starfield universe a Star Wars flavour.
The mod is part of a collection of various mods available under the name “Star Wars Genesis” that integrate a wide variety of set pieces from the Star Wars universe into the game.
Special attention was paid to:
- The integration of the Millennium Falcon and the Mandalorian armour
- A reworking of all the dialogue and voiceovers from the Starfield game to tell a story within the Star Wars universe.
- Revised sound effects and music that fit better with the theme
- Development of an independent storyline based on Star Wars game classics.
- Starfield PC system requirements: RAM, Processor & Graphics card
Va’ruun’kai becomes Korriban
The new planet in the DLC becomes the home of the dark force Korriban, which harbours the most powerful Sith in the universe.According to the modder, an expansion of this world with its own storyline, a Sith temple and boss monsters is planned for the future.
