Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter: All infos of the remake

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Trails RPG series, developer Nihon Falcom and publisher GungHo have announced a remake of the very first title.

The remake of the game, which laid the foundation for a huge gaming franchise that is structured like a series in terms of its dramaturgy and spans several titles, is due to be released worldwide and for PS5, Switch and PC in autumn next year.

Trails in the Sky

The game tells the story of Estelle and Joshua, who want nothing more in the kingdom of Liberl than to become Bracers, the protectors of the citizens and of peace. On their journey to becoming true heroes and uncovering the mystery of their missing father, they travel through a land whose technology is controlled by the mysterious “Orbal Energy” is driven.

A new look at an unforgettable journey

Liberl Kingdom, like all the characters, has been given a new 3D look for this remake and offers even players who enjoyed the first version of the game something new to discover.

With two different modes, the combat system allows players to create their own completely customised strategy that is precisely tailored to their heroes and their abilities.

Apart from the battles, the player can expect many quests and tasks that not only breathe life into the world, but also ensure that the journey really feels like discovering Liberl for yourself.

Souls-like Metroidvania game Biomorph released for PS5

The remake is due to be released in autumn next year and will allow PlayStation 5, Switch and PC players to experience the first title in the Trails series on their respective consoles for the first time.
