Vampire Survivors receives biggest update yet

Vampire Survivors, released in 2022, is regularly supplied with smaller updates and content by Poncle Limited, but with "Ode to Castlevania" it is receiving a really big package of new features for the first time.

There could hardly be a more fitting release date than Halloween for the expansion of the spooky shoot'em up, especially as it brings one of THE vampire game franchises on board with the Castlevania theme.

Ode to Castlevania" is by far the biggest update the game has ever received, ranging from new characters and weapons to new modes, maps and music.

20 new characters

Over 20 new playable characters from the Castlevania universe, including Simon Belmont and his family (with their iconic whips, of course), the occult Belnades clan and other fan favorites.

40 new weapons

The possible equipment has been expanded by 40 new weapons, ranging from new elemental magic to Castlevania classics such as Alucard's sword and spear.

Weapon selection screen

A new mode of the weapon selection screen allows players to choose the best equipment for their character, both in terms of visuals and gameplay.

New, huge map

The biggest map Vampire Survivors has ever had is added. The level is also inspired by Castlevania and packed with suitable challenges and secrets.

30 new soundtracks

30 new music tracks inspired by or directly from various Castlevania games that enhance the overall gaming experience.

Ode to Castlevania will be released on Steam for €3.99 just in time for Halloween.
