World of Warcraft: These annoying items drive your fellow players crazy
In World of Warcraft, there are tens of thousands of items – but only a few are true troll tools. Some items were practically made to drive your fellow players insane in a charming (or mean) way.
Football
Small, round – and extremely annoying. The Football can be spammed without cooldown and makes a distinct „Plock“ sound with every hit, which sticks in your brain. It’s especially nasty when multiple people shoot the raid leader during explanations. No wonder many WoW fans eventually mute in-game sounds entirely.
Tip:
The ball is available year-round from Jepetto Funbuck in Dalaran for around 40 Gold – or as a gift during the Winter Veil Festival.
Magic Banana
This unassuming banana packs a punch: stepping on it causes you to slip and fall briefly – perfect for creating chaos. In a raid, this can be fatal, for example if the tank slips and misplaces a boss mechanic.
Downside: The banana has a 2-hour cooldown, so it’s not for continuous trolling.
Location:
Drops from the rare enemy Bonobos in the Valley of the Four Winds (Pandaria). Drop chance is around 10%, so patience is required!
Feast of the Fishes
A feast in a raid is normally a good thing – but not this one!
Anyone who eats from the Feast of the Fishes transforms into a fish … and cannot breathe on land. This leads to slow but inevitable death – and loud laughter in voice chat.
How to get it:
Through the Cooking profession in the Legion expansion, after reaching “Good Friend” reputation with Keeper Raynae in Val’sharah. Alternatively, the feast is often available on the Auction House.
Outdated PC
Not a real item, but it can test your patience when load times are longer than the Lich King’s reign, your game stutters as if under a paralysis spell, or the resolution drops so much that you can’t distinguish enemies from your own character.
Tip: Don’t worry, we have a cure – the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF lets you experience WoW as it was meant to be: smooth and in beautiful graphics, with special hardware that doesn’t rely on magic or mana: 20x3.90GHz, 32GB DDR5, RTX 5070 12GB DLSS 4, 1TB M.2 SSD.
