Starting today, you can secure one of the coolest mounts in World of Warcraft – but you only have a few weeks to grab it.

The Trading Post often evokes mixed feelings within the community, as the monthly rewards don’t always appeal to everyone. However, in October, Blizzard seems to have hit the mark perfectly: a new mount has players excited and is already drawing a lot of attention.

The Mount in Detail

The highlight is the “Sanctified Steed of the Headless Horseman”. Many players will recognize the horse from Hallow’s End – but this time, a darker version is available through the Trading Post.

Cost: 700 Trader’s Tender (a little more than two-thirds of the monthly budget)
Appearance: flaming hooves and a detailed, sinister armor

Anyone who wants the mount will likely be happy to invest the cost.
Additionally, there’s a second mount available in October: a fel-infested Elekk mount. You’ll receive this automatically once you complete the Traveler’s Log for the month.
Your personal gaming mount

Reward Timeframe

The Headless Horseman’s Steed will be available throughout the entire month of October – giving you roughly four weeks to collect enough Trader’s Tender.
If you don’t have enough currency this month, there’s an alternative: you can “freeze” the mount and claim it in the coming months (e.g. November or December).
