Valorant: The most popular camping spots on Bind

Valorant Die beliebtesten Camping Spots auf Bind

If you want to know which positions are the very best for defenders on the Bind Map, then you've come to the right place.

Since the release of Valorant in June 2020, the map has been “Bind” for map rotation. Even though it has been adapted slightly since then, its basic structure has not changed.

Like many other maps, Bind offers defenders many advantages and makes it quite a challenge for attackers.

In order to be better prepared as an attacker on Bind, to target opponents early on and to know the best defender positions, this guide will tell you everything you need to know about the most popular camp spots on the map. The overview is divided into defensive positions on A and B.

Bind - Bomb side B - Defender Spots

B-Gap:

As a defender, you should make use of the recess on bomb side B. Here you can wait until you hear the enemy team and then strike from the corner at the right moment.

To do this, first check the right-hand path (B-Long) and then move your crosshairs to the left to check Hookah as well. From this position, you not only have cover, but also a good view of both attack paths.

B-Hall:

If you want to keep an eye on B-Short, the Hall Defender position is ideal. You may not be able to monitor B-Long directly, but at least you have a clear view of anyone who dares to leave B-Short, Hookah.

The angle also works in your favour, because while enemies find it difficult to spot you, their heads are directly in your line of sight. If you stay calm, you will be able to score a few headshots from your hiding place.

And if the push becomes too strong, you can retreat to the right towards Elbow or to the left towards the Defender spawn.

B-Elbow:

If your opponents have already reached the Garden, you can see both Hookah and B-Long here.

A versatile location with a good overview and retreat options, where B-Long or Harden should be covered by a fellow player with an operator in order not only to make the best use of the extensive route, but also to gather information as early as possible.

Bind - Bomb side A - Defender Spots

A-Green Box:

Similar to the notch on the B-side, you have the option here of holding out until opponents arrive or aiming directly at A-Short - after all, this is one of the preferred ways to attack A.

However, from this position you can also control the entrance of A-Long and the area above Showers, should the opponent decide to do so instead.

A-Lamps:

Here, the attacker has significantly more space and protection from crates and walls, which requires defenders to remain alert and watch out for peaking opponents.

Here you should take cover behind the wall as far as possible and only cover the left side, as you will lose most of your cover on the right side.

A-Tower/Heaven:

Heaven (or A-Tower) is a perfect place for snipers. Here you have an overview of the entire A-side and cover both long and short.
However, precisely because this location is so suitable, it is also a popular target for enemy smoke - so don't rely on it alone.

Like most strategies, the plan to rely on the best camping spot on Bind won't even last the first enemy contact, but with this guide in mind, you'll be well prepared to become a defender that your opponents will grit their teeth on, or an attacker knowing exactly what your opponents will do to prevent your push.
